1. What data we collect

Account: name and email, when you create an account.

Personalised guide: the information you describe in the form, which may include health data (a special category of data) about your relative. It is handled with particular care and used only to generate the guide you requested.

Clinical materials (optional): if you choose to upload files (e.g. a medical report, photos of medication), those files are used solely to make the guide more accurate.

Minimal technical data: strictly necessary for the operation and security of the service.

2. Why we use the data and on what legal basis

To generate the guides you request, give access to your account, ensure the security of the platform and respond to contact requests. The processing of the form information and clinical materials — including health data — is based on your explicit consent, given when you create the guide. You may withdraw consent at any time. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Generation by artificial intelligence

The guide is generated using an artificial intelligence service (Google Gemini), which acts as a processor. The information you provide (including any clinical materials) is sent to that service only to produce your guide. The guide is informative and does not replace medical advice.

4. Where the data is stored

We use Supabase as our database and authentication infrastructure provider, which acts as a processor and applies appropriate security measures.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your data, as well as to data portability, to withdraw consent and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact hello@dementiasupportguide.com.

6. Retention

We keep the data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described or while you keep your account active. You may request deletion at any time.
