Terms of Use

By using Dementia Support Guide, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. Nature of the service

Dementia Support Guide provides information and practical guidance to support carers of people with dementia. The content is for information only and does not constitute medical, legal or financial advice, nor does it replace assessment by a qualified professional.

2. Use

You agree to use the platform in good faith and lawfully.

You are responsible for keeping your access credentials confidential.

3. Personalised guides, payments and invoicing

Personalised guides are an optional digital product. Price and payment conditions are shown before any purchase. The price shown includes any applicable VAT.

Payment is processed by Stripe, which acts as Merchant of Record (the legal seller) of the product. For legal and tax purposes, the seller to the customer is Stripe, and Stripe handles the collection and the sales taxes.

As a result, the receipt/invoice for the purchase is issued by Stripe (the legal seller) and not by Dementia Support Guide. As it is issued by a foreign entity, this document is not a national invoice reported to your country’s tax authority and is not deductible through that route. By completing the purchase, the customer acknowledges and accepts this condition.

As this is digital content generated and made available immediately, by requesting the generation of the guide the customer expressly consents to the immediate start of performance and acknowledges that, once the guide has been generated and made available, the 14-day right of withdrawal can no longer be exercised. Refund requests are assessed case by case and may be handled through Stripe.

4. Affiliate links

Some product recommendations may contain affiliate links. If you make a purchase through them, Dementia Support Guide may receive a commission, at no extra cost to you.

5. Limitation of liability

Dementia Support Guide is not responsible for decisions made based on the content of the site. Decisions about health, safety and care should always be validated with professionals.

6. Changes

These terms may be updated. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
